B-Organic Farms Receives Support

The Antelope Garden Club of Chino Valley first learned of the Harvest Food Project last year when Mark and Ginny Bonacquista, owners of B-Organic Farms here in Chino Valley, joined the club.  Mark and Ginny galvanized a network of community and individual gardeners to contribute produce to a cause that provides healthy food to those who are unable to put food on the table.

This year, the couple were in need of financial support to purchase irrigation and plumbing supplies for greenhouses they operate on South Road 1 East.  Those greenhouses provide produce for the Harvest Food Project.  The Garden Club moved to provide them with any funds they raised at the Territorial Days craft fair.  Members decided to create objects for sale from recycled and natural products.

On September 7, the Bonacquistas received a check in the amount of $495.00 from Mary Barnes, President, and Donna Ellis, coordinator of the crafts project, at Memory Park.  The Garden Club was proud to assist the project and, as always, to support the community.
