Tour of Yavapai College Greenhhouses
Our club was treated to a tour of the greenhouses. In addition to the green house where plants are grown via different methods and fish are grown in pools, we also saw their garden cover crop, retention pond, newly planted vineyard and fruit tree orchard. James and Amber, our tour guides, are quite enthusiastic about the courses and opportunities for experimentation in the horticulture program.
